Glenn Howell – Optometrist

Glenn Howell graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1991 and has always worked in rural Victoria. He has completed two self-funded eye-camp trips to Africa and Tonga so is very aware of the changes in people’s eyes who have not had the opportunity to wear sunglasses and have regular eye tests.

Glenn lives in Hamilton and provides eye tests to Hamilton and surrounding areas. He is able to offer ongoing quality eye care and is in the best position to understand and cater for your eye needs, and to provide back up service for glasses and contact lenses.

Glenn is also registered to practice Optometry in Australia with Certificate of Therapeutic Endorsement. This means Glenn is authorised with the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) to prescribe certain eye-drops that are supplied by a pharmacy at a subsidised cost to the patient.  Glenn writes PBS prescriptions whenever it is appropriate for an eye condition.

Chris Law – Optometrist

Chris is a graduate the University of Melbourne, completing postgraduate study in optometry. In his Doctor of Optometry internship, he undertook clinical placements in various settings, such as the Alfred Hospital, OPSM Eyehub in Hawthorne, independent practice in Mildura, public health service at the Australian College of Optometry, as well as here in Hamilton under Glenn.
He also spent a month in South Africa providing primary eye care in rural and remote communities on board the Phelophepa Health Train, and presenting clinical cases at the University of Limpopo.

Chris has a special interest in clinical management of dry eye and ocular pathology, including uveitis, retinal disease and glaucoma. He has lived in Hamilton since 2015.
